omg there’s no video here
Haha! Someone actually googled SMK USJ 13 sex scandal and got to my blog.
Just cause I wrote about Ida Nerina’s sex tape and SMK USJ 13 prom.
Tough luck, I don’t think anybody published about it so openly.
Damn cool, we actually have a sex scandal like some kim kardashian case. Compensates for not having MPT5. :P
The Amazing Race Asia
I don’t understand what’s going on in the mind of the guy picking the contestants for TARA. Especially for season 2 and 3. Almost all the contestants are either models, tv hosts, actress, heiress, beauty peagent winner, comedian or even a famous singer’s sisters (obviously referring to vince chong’s sisters).
I have nothing against them. I’m supporting the Malaysian teams all the way. Especially Ida and Tania, cause they’re so darn funny!
But shouldn’t normal people be on amazing race? Like the US version. These famous bunch of people are rich already. Why do they deserve to win more money? That’s not fair at all.
The hidden requirement to join TARA,
You must either have a movie under your belt,
Hosted a major ty program or acted in a mini series or been on a cover of FHM,
Or look like this,
or perhaps like this,
definitely like this,
Yeah,so, the point is (wipes drool) I prefer normal people living normal lives like the first winner Zabrina and Joe Jer. Okay, they don’t exactly live normal lives as well (they’re tv producers). But at least close to normal.
What if this team wants to join TARA?

I bet they’d never even get through auditions. So whoever making the pick for TARA, stop choosing famous people that you know or has connections with chunted people. It’s a reality tv game show. And the reality is,
the rest of the world looks like this.
Shit, in the process of looking for ida nerina’s pictures, I found out she had a sex tape (not really a fan of local celebrities so I didn’t know). Maybe the guy picking the teams for TARA enjoyed it.
mandarin ducks
“In the world of Feng Shui, mandarin ducks are used for relationship healing purposes. They are recognized as symbols of a strong and long-lasting relationship.
This originates from the fact that mandarin ducks mate for life. When they find a partner, they will stick with that same partner for the rest of their lives. It is said that if they are ever separated, they will pine for each other and will soon die of loneliness.
This strong love and fidelity has credited mandarin ducks with relationship healing properties, especially in Eastern cultures like China and Japan. In Feng Shui, having mandarin duck figurines in your home is bound to enhance your love life.
A Japanese folktale describes this everlasting bond between mandarin ducks. This folktale begins with a feudal lord capturing a mandarin duck for its beautiful plumage. The duck, separated from its mate, is utterly miserable and slowly starts to die of loneliness.
The lord’s servant maid and her samurai lover see the true love and loyalty between the mandarin ducks, and decide to reunite the ducks against their lord’s wishes. The lord, angered by this disobedience, condemns the two lovers to death. Thus begins a story of love and loyalty.
This folktale has been popularized in English by Katherine Paterson’s book The Tale of the Mandarin Ducks.”

Not exactly a feng shui believer but oh well, it’s sweet.
Since I can’t afford the real crystal thing, nah…
For you. We’ve been arguing so much lately. Blame it on SPM k?
Another Pre SPM Syndrome Symptom
Things not to say to an spm student
1. SPM’s in 20/19/18…. more days.
Do you think we actually don’t know? Enough with the board in front of the school, and the calendar at home and some people’s personal messages counting down to it. I get it,really.
2. How’s your preparations for SPM?
It feels like each time I come online, someone will ask me that. Which is why I never sign in anymore. It makes me feel like going offline and get back to studying. And I really don’t know what to answer. If I say yes and my results turn out bad, then I guess I wasn’t ready after all.
3. I have a party on (any date from 11th November to 1st December).
The answer is I can’t make it, I have SPM.
Okay, that’s all I can think of.
This is a guy with his hand in a not so appropriate position. Found in the form five Sejarah Text Book. I swear, it’s true. Look at the close-up picture beside. Sorry for the poor camera quality. It’s my phone.
And this is what I found in the newspaper the other day. I seriously thought it was MILF in the horny context.
Then I read the article and it turns out to be the initials of a group.
Pre SPM Syndrome
Things to do after SPM
1. Watch the many series I missed. Eg : ANTM, Prison Break, Gossip Girl, Moonlight Resonance?, Every Chinese drama on Wah Lai Toi
2. Exercise. Studying is such a passive activity. And when added with snacks while studying, gosh, atherosclerosis like mad.
3. Burn Give away revision books
4. Study Play like mad.
5. Read novels.
6. Spend time with
i. Classmates and schoolmates
ii. Ex schoolmates
iii. Him after his exams
iv. neglected overseas/online/out-of-school friends
7. Cut hair and dye it red. Buahahahaa! (If I don’t have any other scholarship interviews) When you start working, some companies won’t allow super crazy coloured hair okay. Better do it now. Besides, red heads look fun.
8. Go back to joining SJBA stuffs. Especially YS. And visit the new outlet!
9. Help mum out in shop. Kesian dia, always working so hard.
10. Get ready for college/uni. :S
11. Learn to speak Mandarin. For future working purposes.
12. Solve the rubik’s cube on my pencil box.

Of SMK USJ 13 Prom
Prom, short for promenade, is the current fun thing now. And guess when USJ 13 is having theirs? Never. Why? Cause it’s too western I suppose. They probably think proms will encourage sex among the teenagers.
You lucky Seafield-ians having your MPT5.
High school feels incomplete, not having prom. And attending other school’s prom would feel so awkward and not so shiok. Besides, the purpose of proms is to mark the end of the schooling year and sorts. So, we’ll never have a significant event that symbolizes the end of our high school year.
Although very cliché, I like the “boy-picks-up-girl-from-house, boy-gives-girl-corsage, girl-wears-pretty-gowns, boy-wears-black-tie, boy-and-girl -dances-the-night-away, girl-loses-virginity(oops,i actuallyy forgot to strikethrough this)” tradition. Okay, call me hopeless romantic, but I think its sweeeet. I should have forced him to bring me to his prom last year!
Trial results are okay so far. And that’s because I haven’t got my Bio results which I know will suck.
SPM Tip : To people that think you suck in a certain subject all the while so you’ll just never be good in it,bulls**t! I’ve always sucked in Chem and this trials I got a pretty high A1. Only paper 3 leaked for me and it’s not like it helped*. If I can do it, you can too! (gives commercial face)
To people that think it’s too late to study for SPM and score well, it’s not true! It’s not like I studied 2 months before trials or anything. I took 3 weeks. And I did fairly well(since the leaked questions didn’t exactly help*). We have more than 3 weeks, so don’t be discouraged by the very little time we have. Even if it’s little, we still have time! And since trials wasn’t long ago, you probably still can rememeber some of the stuffs so you prolly need even less time than that. Now I feel like Datin Robiah. :/
To people who suck in Sejarah, some of you forgot the format for the essay part is 3 questions from form 5 and 2 from form 4. And since you’re suppose to pick 3, you can pretty much just concentrate on form 5.
Taylor’s National Scholarship, to apply or not to apply? Talent. Fashion. Outbreak, to watch or not to watch? That is the question.
Tag!
I visit many blogs and always intend to tag on cbox and stuffs but always end up not having anything to say. I’m bad at tagging. What should I actually say? If it’s an emo post, should I say cheer up? Then the blog owner would just say “oh thanks, I will”. What else can they say right?
If it’s a post about an event, should I say wow, that event looks damn happening? Or that her dress looks pretty? I just find it so weird saying stuffs like that. I feel like there’s such a limited response towards those comments. And I cannot think of anything else.
So if you find me reading your blog without tagging, I’m sorry lah. I really don’t know what to say. It doesn’t mean I’m trying to hide the fact that I’m reading your blog or that your blog sucks. I’m just bad in tagging. But do tag in mine.
I know you’re not bad in it. ![]()
My meebo is so darn pathetic. I check it every day and I don’t get a single message. And please, please remember to have your name there when you send a message.
This blog is not private okay. If it is, I wouldn’t change to wordpress that can lock certain posts. Locking certain posts when it’s already private wouldn’t make sense, would it?
I just don’t want to go up to people and say “hey!!! I have a blog! Here it is! www.netteynette….”.
I feel like it’s so conceited. As if they’re actually anticipating for THE Lynette’s blog or something.
So don’t go avoiding from linking me or hiding it from your friends like it such a taboo thing to say.
It’ll be great if people actually read my blog. Then I wouldn’t be just talking to myself. I’m not Kay.:P (to Kay who I don’t think knows about my blog yet: Joking lahh..)
But then again, don’t write a post saying Lynette has a blog!!! Cause then people would just think I’m some pro blogger who was MIA for a while and gets disappointed and starts cursing when they enter my blog.
So now you know…:D
Happy berbuka sekolah!
I’m so not looking forward to it. It just means no going out and non-stop studying till SPM.
But after SPM….. muahahahhaha
I Promise To Be a Good Non-hypocritical Muslim by Raja Petra Kamarudin
Muslims do not know how to be Muslims. Muslims do everything Islam is against. Muslims are hypocrites. That is what ails Malaysia. That is the sickness of our society.
NO HOLDS BARRED
Raja Petra Kamarudin
I promise that, under a Pakatan Rakyat government, Malaysians will never again be subjected to such gross abuse of executive power as we are again witnessing today (7 August 2008). Arbitrary arrest and detention, frivolous investigation and malicious prosecutions shall be a thing of the past. Police officers and prosecutors who launch conspiracies to defame and humiliate the innocent will be severely punished. The use of police powers as well as that of the office of the Attorney General to persecute political opponents will be criminalised so as to ensure a healthy and vibrant democracy where dissent is not only tolerated but also nurtured.
In this regard, every Malaysian’s fundamental liberties will be treated as sacrosanct and safeguarded by a truly independent judiciary guided by principles of utmost integrity and an adherence to the spirit of the federal constitution.
The politically motivated trial launched against me will, Insha’Allah, be the last of its kind. No Malaysian will suffer from this cruel injustice ever again.
Yesterday’s events confirm my innocence from the charges that recently surfaced. The medical report and Statutory Declaration by Dr. Osman Abdul Hamid of the Pusrawi Hospital that surfaced on Thursday shatter lingering doubts as to whether the alleged act ever took place. Dr. Osman’s statement also confirms what we have already stated regarding deplorable actions by the police to fabricate evidence in a manner identical to the manipulation of my case in 1998. Anything short of a thorough investigation into the mishandling of this investigation would further tarnish the credibility of the police.
The doctor’s personal safety is a matter of deep concern to us. Material witnesses in high-profile cases in Malaysia, such as the PI Balasubramanian, have gone missing in the past. I applaud those brave individuals who have demonstrated their commitment to freedom and justice by coming forward with important evidence and I call upon the authorities to ensure their protection.
Yesterday, in court, we learned that the prosecution’s case has, in a manner similar to the botched trials of 1998, shape-shifted from a charge of assault to one of a consensual act. The conspiracy launched against me in the final week of June 2008 is falling apart. There is a hasty attempt by some to patch up glaring holes in the complainant’s testimony. This will certainly fail given the preponderance of evidence confirming my innocence.
The Prime Minister has actively involved himself in this matter in an attempt to derail the process of transformational change in Malaysia and stave off his own political demise. But in soiling his hands with this sordid matter he has deepened the crisis within his own administration. His most ardent supporters among the Malays have also expressed their disgust with the matter. Furthermore, Prime Minister Badawi now faces investigation by the Anti-Corruption Agency for his involvement in corruption and money politics.
The shadow of corruption and mismanagement of the economy darkens the legacy of his Premiership. Prime Minister Badawi has still offered no convincing explanation over the huge profits reaped by his family in the Oil-For-Food scandal at the expense of dying Iraqis.
I advise those around him to leave the sinking ship of his leadership while there is still a chance to do so.
Pakatan Rakyat’s reform agenda is firmly back on track and the New Dawn for Malaysia is well within reach. We will mount a unified campaign to win in Permatang Pauh with a solid majority encompassing that constituency’s diverse population. I look forward to entering Parliament on August 27th with the support of my friends in the coalition.
ANWAR IBRAHIM
*************************************************
That was Anwar Ibrahim’s statement yesterday. It did not come with any heading. But if it did it could have been appropriately headlined: I promise to be a good, non-hypocritical Muslim.
Yes, that short sentence — I promise to be a good, non-hypocritical Muslim — which I have chosen as the title of this piece, aptly describes what Anwar’s statement could have been called had he chosen to give it a heading. This is the crux of the problem. This is what ails our society. This is the root cause of the breakdown in morality and lack of values prevalent amongst those Muslims who walk in the corridors of power.
Corruption, exploitation, abuse of power, political persecution, arrogance, racial discrimination, no respect for fundamental liberties and human rights, and much more, are not the problem. These are merely symptoms of another problem. These are just the end-result of the real problem. The problem that breeds all these symptoms of what ails this country is that Muslims do not know how to be Muslims.
Sure, I know, you are going to now scream, “Why target just the Muslims? There are also bad Jews, Christians, Hindus, Buddhists and whatnot. So why just target Muslims for criticism? Why not also whack the Jews, Christians, Hindus, Buddhists and whatnot?”
The Jews, Christians, Hindus, Buddhists and whatnot do not run this country. The majority of the 1.2 million leaders and civil servants are Muslims. The policies and direction of this country are charted and guided by the Muslims. It is the Muslims who practically have absolute say in how this country is run and in what happens in this country. At best, those not of the Muslim faith are merely running dogs of the Muslims. These running dogs lie to their people by claiming that they are looking after the interest of their community whereas they are really selling their community down the drain and subjecting their community to the whims and fancies of the Muslims who are running this country.
Listen to how Muslims talk. They foam at the mouth in defence of Islam. They slander and defile other religions. They declare all other religions as false and their holy books as fakes. They profess only Islam as the true religion, Muhammad as the final and legitimate Prophet, and the Quran as the only authentic book still in existence. Then they do everything that Islam is against without blinking an eyelid as if this is what God Himself prescribed.
No, the non-Muslims do not moralise like the Muslims do. The non-Muslims are not patronising like the Muslims are. The non-Muslims do not talk down to those of other religions like the Muslims do. The non-Muslims do not preach that those not of their religion are the enemies of God who should not be taken as friends the way the Muslims preach.
Yes, there are good Muslims and there are bad Muslims. There are also good people of the other religions and there are bad people of the other religions. But only Muslims pretend to be good when they are actually bad. Only Muslims talk about their religion non-stop while going against everything their religion stands for.
Anwar described at great length what ails our country. Anwar described in great detail what ills our society is suffering from. But all that could have been explained in just one sentence. Muslims do not know how to be Muslims. Muslims do everything Islam is against. Muslims are hypocrites. That is what ails Malaysia. That is the sickness of our society. And that is why Malaysia is a lost cause as long as we have the majority 1.2 million leaders and civil servants coming from just one faith, the Muslim faith.

This is the full article Raja Petra Kamarudin wrote that got him detained under ISA. I know too many teens that are unaware of political issues so here’s an easy alternative for you guys to read about it. Which you must cause it’s essential as a Malaysian.
I admit that I’ve only read very little articles by RPK but I’ve always liked his style of writing. Which is the simple truth. ISA is constricting the freedom of speech that was given to us by the human rights law. I’m not saying ISA should be abolished because the point of ISA does make sense. But they should be more careful on how they execute it especially who they’re arresting and torturing as a part of the process. ISA goes against the right of man to defend himself and that is just absurd isn’t it?
Try this, Google “freedom of speech” and you’ll see the third match is “M’sian euphemism for ‘no freedom of speech’”. Malaysia is THAT famous for constricting man’s freedom of speech.
I do hope the Malaysian government releases RPK. Otherwise, Malaysiatoday is just gonna be another bimbotic blog. :p
Titanic facts
I just watched Titanic and as usual, made some research about it. I’m sure all of you have watched it and was overwhelmed by the romantic love story of Jack and Rose Dawson and cried for the old couple who cuddled throughout the sinking of the ship and the captain who was devastated. But it really made me curious what made them so sure Titanic was unsinkable? And why the lifeboats were insufficient?
Reasons for Titanic to be “unsinkable”:-
1. This article :-
2. The Irish News and Belfast Morning News reported that Titanic’s watertight compartments and electronic watertight doors makes it unsinkable
3. Shipbuilder magazine published an article on her construction and made a conclusion that it will never sink.
How could they not think about those natural disasters and such? Some people even wrote back saying they switched from some other normal ship to Titanic cause it was apparently unsinkable and it would be safer and all. All these articles just made some innocent guy thinking of his safety die miserably.
And here’s an article regarding the lifeboats:
At the British Inquiry into the Titanic disaster Sir Alfred Chalmers of the Board of Trade was asked why regulations governing the number of lifeboats required on passenger ships had not been updated since 1896. (Titanic sunk on April 15,1912 by the way) Sir Alfred gave a number of reasons for this:
1. Due to advancements that had been made in ship building it was not necessary for boats to carry more lifeboats.
2. The latest boats were stronger than ever and had watertight compartments making them unlikely to require lifeboats at all.
3. Sea routes used were well-travelled meaning that the likelihood of a collision was minimal.
4. The latest boats were fitted with wireless technology.
5. That it would be impossible for crew members to be able to load more than sixteen boats in the event of a disaster.
6. That the provision of lifeboats should be a matter for the ship owners to consider.
Sir Alfred also stated that he felt that if there had been fewer lifeboats on Titanic then more people would have been saved. He believed that if there had been fewer lifeboats then more people would have rushed to the boats and they would have been filled to capacity thus saving more people.
Titanic carried 20 lifeboats, enough for 1178 people. The existing Board of Trade required a passenger ship to provide lifeboat capacity for 1060 people. Titanic’s lifeboats were situated on the top deck. The boat was designed to carry 32 lifeboats but this number was reduced to 20 because it was felt that the deck would be too cluttered.
At the British investigation, Charles Lightoller as the senior surviving officer was questioned about the fact that the lifeboats were not filled to capacity. They had been tested in Belfast on 25th March 1912 and each boat had carried seventy men safely. When questioned about the filling of lifeboat number six, Lightoller testified that the boat was filled with as many people as he considered to be safe. Lightoller believed that it would be impossible to fill the boats to capacity before lowering them to sea without the mechanism that held them collapsing. He was questioned as to whether he had arranged for more people to be put into the boats once it was afloat. Lightoller admitted that he should have made some arrangement for the boats to be filled once they were afloat. When asked if the crew member in charge of lifeboat number six was told to return to pick up survivors, the inquiry was told that the crew member was told to stay close to the ship. Lifeboat number 6 was designed to hold 65 people. It left with 40.
Titanic also carried 3500 lifebelts and 48 life rings; Useless in the icy water. The majority of passengers that went into the sea did not drown, but froze to death.
Many people were confused about where they should go after the order to launch the lifeboats had been given. There should have been a lifeboat drill on 14th April, but the Captain cancelled it to allow people to go to church.
Many people believed that Titanic was not actually sinking but that the call to the lifeboats was actually a drill and stayed inside rather than venture out onto the freezing deck.
The inquiry was concerned that there was a delay of more than an hour between the time of impact and the launching of the first lifeboat – number 7. As a result there was not enough time to successfully launch all the lifeboats. Collapsible lifeboats A and B were not launched but floated away as the water washed over the ship. Collapsible B floated away upside down. People tried unsuccessfully to right it. 30 people survived the disaster by standing on the upturned boat.
——
Here’s the source. While you’re there, check out the layout. They have the whole ship covered including pictures of some of it.
I cannot believe they would lessen the amount of lifeboats just because it was cluttered. It just shows how materialistic people can be. Thinking of only how it looks rather than the safety of all the passengers. And how they would cancel the drill and not replace for another day. And launching the lifeboats so slowly. And allowing the boat to be filled with less than the amount of people it was capable of holding when there are already so little boats. It feels like all of these could be done better easily. And saving the 1,517 who died due to this tragedy. But I guess it’s good that it happened. I bet any shipbuilders or ship designers or such would think thrice before neglecting safety issues due to this. We probably have much safer trips on ships due to this incident.
And do you remember the band playing the violin and cello? Wallace Hartley, the bandleader is not a fictional character. He’s historical and his last performance was to “Nearer, My God, to Thee”. And his famous last words were “Gentlemen. It has been a privilege playing with you tonight.”
