Shikera and Money No Enough
This is probably gonna sound like a review but I think people should read Jonathan’s blog. There’s just too many bimbo blogs around and it’s time we actually read something smart and thought provoking like his. Although he actually thinks his blog is boring. And that it doesn’t appeal to the mainstream crowd. Tsk!
At least it stands out from the “today i went out with my baby, i saw this and that, i camwhored, i went clubbing and got screwed up and here’s all the pictures of me with the same facial expression just a different angle” kind of blogs.
Yeah, so if you have the time, do read it!
Here’s an excerpt from his blog which precisely portrayed my feelings towards leakages in exams.
“..Another question is whether we need these ethically-controversial leakings. That is subjected to your personal opinion. Personally, I do not think that I NEED it. But as I have said earlier, if it knocks on your door, why not open it and let opportunity settle in your living room, giving it a cuppa tea, instead of venturing out into the city looking for the same deal. Pardon the figurative language, that’s the most suitable way of putting it…”

Okay, what’s with all my reviews out of a sudden? I just finished watching Money No Enough 2 an hour ago. And it was another one of Jack Neo’s movie that made me cry and laugh so hardly. He never fails to have that effect on me. Which makes him such a great director.
This one is about money obviously, about the craze of striving to be rich and about their family especially their mother. Watch it and you’ll vow not to send your mum to an old folks’ home.
I like the way the movie told the truth about Singaporean government (not that I know how they are but I read it from somewhere) and how they always succeed in instilling some moral values in the viewers.
But I didn’t like all the fake graphics. I found it so “ooookaay”. Sorry, I don’t know how to put that in words.
I think I liked the first one better though. I can’t exactly remember what happened in the first one. I just remember laughing and crying.
All in all, it’s a real good movie and you guys should see it. I particularly LOVE the chiak pa part.
Post Exam Activities
It was this guy’s birthday. (He’s doing the pussy lick thing, don’t mind him) The one with many nicknames from horse, baby khoo khoo, sheng etc.
So,Jade, Christine and Sheng went station one after tuition to meet up with Jo, Jing Yi, Dina(I hope it’s spelled right) and Kar Mern. Dina and Jing Yi went off early and later on, Soon and another guy joined us. And Preman,Hasif and Harvind “visited”.
It’s from RT Pastry which is known for their superb cheese cakes.
Aunty Jenny was so funny covering when she accidentally spilled about having a cake for sheng.
“There the cake I bought from (don’t know where), very nice wan. Horr, cheh?”
Jocelyn making him look like an overgrown baby.
Maryland’s masterpiece.
The normal self.
I’m not exactly very close to Xing Sheng. But he’s been around for almost everytime I meet up with Jade. We may not “bond” nor do we argue, but he’s been a good friend to me. And I enjoy his company. I really makes everything more cheerful and filled with laughter. I bought him a small present yesterday from 1u.
1u yesterday was fun! I bought a top and he helped me picked it. Although it was a slow, long and torturing process for him. Muahaha.
